Wedding photographer
in Vendée

I grew up near Nantes, in Loire Atlantique. I left the region for my studies and then my successive jobs, until my reconversion to wedding photography. Today, my job allows me to work all over France, especially in the Loire Valley where I come back very regularly. It is possible for me to cover wedding services in the Vendée, but also in Mayenne, Sarthe, or Maine-et-Loire.

Terms and conditions for photography services in
Vendée

As far as wedding coverage is concerned, I propose to the future brides and grooms three main formulas according to the number of hours they want/need on the D-day: 6h, 9h or 12h. The number of hours of presence induces a different number of photos: the reportage is longer if I am present 12 hours than 6 hours. I also sometimes create a custom package when the bride and groom have specific wishes: Day After in a particular place, photo albums, etc

I give their photos to the bride and groom via an online gallery to which I give them access (and which remains available if needed even several months after the wedding). They also receive by mail their wedding box containing some prints of their day and the USB key containing their reportage.

Publication of the photos on social networks: nothing is published by me on my website or my networks before validation of the reportage by the bride and groom. This allows them to discover their photos quietly and to ask vetos if needed on some photos they want to keep for themselves.

My approach to wedding photography

I learned photography alone. I already had a relatively solid technical base when I discovered wedding photography, but I then had to train with a professional (my own wedding photographer, in fact!) to learn photography applied specifically to weddings.

My approach is based on trust and good communication with the bride and groom. The goal is to design together the service that suits them most in order to accompany them the best I can during this day. I prefer portraits when it comes to photography: I try to take pictures of atmosphere, in foot, though I always end up coming closer to the bride and groom. For this type of photo, it is essential for the couple to feel confident, because it implies for me, as a photographer, to come physically (and emotionally) close to the bride and groom.

On the wedding day, I prefer the reportage approach, which consists in blending in with the guests and photographing the bride and groom with discretion, to capture spontaneous moments of emotion. However, I may guide the couple more at specific moments of the day. The couple session, for example, is often a daunting exercise for people who are not used to posing (that's 99% of people). Giving the bride and groom more guidance and advice allows them to make the most of the moment and feel supported.

The Loire Valley and my discovery
of wedding photography

I grew up in Loire-Atlantique, and I discovered photography there. Later, during my wedding in this same region, I discovered the job of wedding photographer through my own photographer. The idea of making it my job - thanks to her training - was born in the region.

I came back regularly to the region over the years, first for personal reasons - part of my family is there - and then for professional reasons, when I started to make a living from wedding photography. In fact, the very first wedding I covered as a professional was at the Château de Thouaré, in Loire-Atlantique, where I myself got married. Having a home near Nantes (my room at my parents' house), I travel around the region to cover weddings and photo shoots.

Today, I have the chance to work as a wedding photographer in the Loire-Atlantique, my native land, as well as in the Vendée, the Sarthe, the Mayenne or the Maine-et-Loire.

Blog

To know more about me, you can also visit my blog. You will find articles about my photo services or about the wedding world in general. I also talk about photo culture, wedding fashion, organization, in short, everything that interests me!

Every contact with a couple starts with a meeting: at my home (which gives me an excuse to make cakes) or by telephone. These talks are essential for me to understand the wishes of the bride and groom, but above all to ensure that they feel confident with me. It is impossible to commit to such an important service without taking the time to check that we are all on the same wavelength!
