I accompany families and couples to the seaside to create beautiful memories with their hair blowing in the wind and (sometimes) their feet in the water.
WHY TAKE FAMILY PHOTOS BY THE SEA?
I find there's a great sense of freedom (and so much joy) in choosing the seaside as the backdrop for a photo shoot. You give yourself the comfort of wide-open spaces, the sound of the sea, the spray and splashes, the sand clinging to your clothes, and the bursts of laughter echoing off the rocks.
And I just love how hair looks in the wind. I feel like a kid on Christmas morning when I'm at the beach.
PHOTO SHOOT
DURATION
I schedule slots of 1.5 to 2 hours of walking, laughing and taking photos. The exact duration of each shoot may vary, as the aim is to capture spontaneity and joy without the exercice becoming tedious or tiresome.
LOCATION
I usually travel to the coast near Nantes, around Pornic. I sometimes go as far as Brittany.
PRICING
The session rate is 500 euros, which includes travel fees within Loire-Atlantique, the photoshoot, retouching, and the delivery of a minimum of 50 images.
ORGANISATION OF THE PHOTO SHOOT
We plan the session location and date beforehand, and together we think about which clothes to choose and the session's flow, based on your wishes and needs. I don't suggest the same activities for a couple in love as I do for parents with children!
I am always flexible with dates, so I can adapt and offer to reschedule the session if the weather isn't on our side (personally, I dream of a session in the rain, but that's not everyone's dream).
Most of my sessions take place during the week, early in the morning. This is partly because it helps to avoid the crowds, ensuring you intimacy and therefore more serenity and letting go in your images. It's also because I am a wedding photographer, so my Saturdays are quite busy! As for the morning part: I just deeply love the glowing light of a morning sun!
