DESTINATION WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHER
ILLE-ET-VILAINE
I grew up near Nantes, in Loire Atlantique. I then discovered photography, then wedding photography, in Brittany, since I covered my first weddings with a Breton photographer. Today, I regularly come back to Brittany to cover weddings, among others, in Rennes, Saint-Malo or elsewhere in Ille-et-Vilaine.
WHY WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHY
I'm what you might call a compulsive jack-of-all-trades. I've tried my hand at a frightening number of creative hobbies. I've made music, embroidery, beaded jewelry (very fine works of art, as you can imagine), drawing, painting on paper, on glass, on the walls of my grandparents' living room (with their permission, how silly of them). Photography was part of this endless list, but it proved to be the only one of my passions to have survived the test of time.
Photography remained a hobby until I met my wedding photographer. Through her, I discovered this strange profession, and she took me on my first weddings during training sessions with her. I rediscovered my creative side, which I had put aside during my studies and then my first years of professional life.
It's now been several years since I swapped my commercial stilettos for my photographer's sneakers, and I bless this choice every day. In addition to the creative aspect and the pride of being able to create beautiful images, I love the social dimension of being a wedding photographer. At my clients' side during a day that is particularly emotionally charged and very important to them, I strive to accompany them and design a tailor-made reportage so we create their memories together.

MY APPROACH TO WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHY
I hope to be able to approach each wedding report with a combination of technical mastery and casualness.
Approaching wedding photography in a light-hearted way is absolutely essential to help the bride and groom relax and enjoy their day. In fact, I'm deeply convinced that taking photos should above all things be a light and fun moment. Beautiful photos, if they take the bride and groom back to a moment when they felt uncomfortable, are not really successful photos.
In order to create this relaxed atmosphere, technical mastery is important. That's why I'm constantly training myself. With photographers I admire and by reading many, many, many books on photo technique. I'm passionate about my job, and that's just as well, because everything I learn is useful not only for me, but also for the couples who put their trust in me!
Over the years, I've developed a series of documents that I fill in with the bride and groom, and which I use as a roadmap to design a tailor-made photo shoot with each couple, based on their tastes, desires and aesthetic preferences. The number of exchanges varies according to the couple: some prefer not to prepare anything too much, others need to discuss each step. I adapt to each couple's character and expectations! On the big day, I try to encourage spontaneous photos, while accompanying the bride and groom based on the content of our discussions.
I'am all ears if you wish to tell me more about your project and your expectations for this beautiful day
Of course, an initial conversation is not binding!
Journal
I've always loved writing - I've been very active in the wonderful world of Fanfiction for years - and I wanted to link these editorial inclinations with my taste for photography. I write about my services, about the world of marriage, I share thoughts, the fruit of certain research I have done on several aspects of photography... I welcome you in this joyful mayhem!
