MY JOURNEY IN WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHY
I discovered photography when I was a child, stealing the reflex my dad offered to my mum arguing she kept saying it was "too heavy". For fifteen years photography remained a hobby though I gradually deepened my knowledge and my skills.
I discover wedding photography thanks to my own wedding photographer. I suddenly saw the possibility of turning a hobby into a profession. I slowly started to dream about becoming a professional photographer while accompanying her on her own events to learn more about this specific profession. I took the leap of faith when I left Paris and quit my job : maybe it was now time to try and make a career out of photography.
Little by little, I managed to set up my business and I now have the great chance of working all over France to work for the couples who entrust me with the memories of this very important day. I work throughout the Lorraine region, and in particular in Meurthe-et-Moselle and around Nancy, which is full of magnificent reception venues.

I sincerely believe that taking great photos can (and should) be a fun, relaxed and serene experience. This is all the more true regarding wedding photos: it is a day very charged with emotions, which inevitably causes a little stress for the bride and groom. Composing their wedding photos must be a moment of fun and lightness in order to live their wedding day with as much joy and serenity as possible. As my experience in covering weddings increased, I shaped a document describing every aspect of a wedding photo reportage. The document becomes more and more detailed with every conversation I have with the bride and groom until it is finally filled with every wish and expectation of each couple I work with.
Communication is also a key point: I do everything to make the bride and groom feel legitimate to talk to me about sharing any concern or doubt they might have. On D-Day, I want to be an ally for them, a trusted person who shows patience and kindness. Susceptibility has no place in my job: my only goal is to put my skills at the service of the couple in order to create memories that live up to their expectations. Being the best photographer for them sometimes require adjustments throughout the day : speaking freely is essential !
During the wedding day, I favor spontaneous photos and I try to intervene as little as possible, unless expressly requested by the bride and groom or guests or during times that require more support (photos of groups or couples for example).
Nancy's Place Stanislas : a must-have for wedding photos
When I discovered Nancy, I instantly fell in love with the Place Stanislas and that love remained intact through the years. Built in the 18th century, the Place Stanislas is now pedestrianized and offers a magnificent, light-filled setting that I systematically suggest to couples for their photos. I am indeed trying to sell the Place Stan to people getting married in Brittany, that's how much I can be obsessive over places I like.
