Wedding photographer
Esch-sur-Alzette
I have settled in the north of Meurthe-et-Moselle, in the town of Longwy. I work where my brides and grooms want me to, which leads me to walk regularly on the other side of the Luxembourg border. I regularly come to Esch-sur-Alzette, which is the closest luxembourgish town, but I also go to Luxembourg city, and even further north in the Grand Duchy if my brides and grooms wish it!
My career in photography

I discovered photography when I was a teenager. At that time, I photographed everything around me: my family, my friends, but also when I had the opportunity, the forests, the mountains, the great expanses. I quickly realized when it came to photographing landscapes, I was always disappointed with my pictures. They never conveyed the feeling of eternity that I was feeling at the time of taking the picture. It was as if all this space refused to fit into my frame.

On the contrary, I liked to photograph people, trying to capture a fleeting emotion or an unexpected movement. I loved to find a burst of laughter or a moment of tenderness in a photo. Amandine, my own wedding photographer, made me discover this universe which gradually became a big playground. My preferences can be seen in my reportages: I may want to take "ambiance" photos, but my series ends up overflowing with close-ups and portraits to capture a look of complicity or a kiss. I try my best to photograph in my own way another form of eternity.
Wedding photographer near Esch-sur-Alzette
Whether I am a photographer for a wedding or a photoshoot, I try to create with my brides and grooms photos that 'look like them'. Photographing a couple in a familiar setting, or in a place that has a special meaning, can help to find the spontaneity that is sometimes difficult to show in front of the camera. Having the bride and groom interact with their environment, having them walk, sit on a bench or wander the streets can be a good way to put them at ease!
Wedding venues around Esch-sur-Alzette
Being lucky enough to be at the crossroads of three countries, I am slowly discovering the wedding venues in my region, whether they are French, Belgian or Luxembourgian. On the French side, Esch-sur-Alzette is very close to two magnificent estates: the Château de Preisch and the Clos de Lorraine, where I had the opportunity to go several times. In Luxemburg, there is the Château de Septfontaines, in the Rollingergrund district, the Neumünster Abbey in the Grund district, or the Orangerie de Mondorff, which host magnificent receptions every year.
