DESTINATION WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHER
IN PROVENCE ALPES COTE D'AZUR
I travel in the Midi to create memories for couples who decide to get married under the olive trees my grandparents used to talk to me about when I was a child. I want creativity, artistic ambition and fun to always coexist in my work, so every wedding is carefully imagined and shaped with the couples I work with.

HOW I CAME TO WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHY
I discovered wedding photography... at my wedding. At the time, I was working in sales, and I didn't feel that I was fulfilling my professional life. Photography was a hobby at the time, which gradually turned into a profession. It allowed me to reconnect with an artistic fibre that I had abandoned after my studies, while retaining the social dimension that I was looking for when I decided to work in sales.
Over the years I've been a wedding photographer, I've discovered the richness and uniqueness of our profession, which requires us to ‘do everything’ when it comes to photography: portraits, architectural photos, detail shots, group photos, indoor, outdoor, natural or flash lighting, morning and evening light, you need to know how to do it all! Portrait photography made me love weddings, but it's the diversity of the job that has fascinated me and kept me going.
Today, I strive to offer brides and grooms reports that capture the special atmosphere of each event. On a wedding day, I oscillate between photojournalism and more editorial shots, to offer the bride and groom diversity in their images and as comprehensive a report as possible.
Every detail contributes to tell the story of this one special day, allowing you to fully appreciate the light, the locations chosen and the people who came together on the day.

HOW I WORK AS A WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHER
My aim with each couple I work with is to create memories that encapsulate their story. Photos that capture the emotions, the light and the atmosphere of their day, and that responds to their wishes. To do this, I've drawn up a series of documents that I use before the wedding, so I know exactly what needs to be created to satisfy each couple, depending on the requirements they may have for their wedding photos. It's also an opportunity to establish a relationship based on trust and communication, which will be vital if the photos are to be produced in the best possible conditions.
The documents and materials I have created are all made available to the bride and groom to give them as much advice and ideas as possible for shaping their day as they wish.
During the wedding, my watchword is lightness. I'm deeply convinced that taking photos should be a light, fun experience for everyone involved. I want the bride and groom to remember how fun and caring their wedding was when they look at their photos. I want creativity, artistic ambition and fun to always coexist in my work. To be able to create and maintain this relaxed atmosphere, I continually train myself to guide them in the best possible way, without stress or pressure.
I put my experience and advice at the service of the couples who trust me, to help them shape their wedding day and make the most of it. Each report must reflect the couple's individuality, personality, wishes and requirements.

KIND WORDS
I'm at your disposal to talk about your project and your desires for this beautiful day. Of course, a first discussion does not commit you to anything!
MY CHILDHOOD IN PROVENCE
sort of
I grew up in the Loire Valley (what does it have to do with Provence? Give me a sec.) My paternal grandparents are from Marseille. They created for my brother and me holidays that smelt of the lavender my grandmother sprinkled on the pillows, punctuated by the accent that thundered louder when my grandparents argued over matters of the utmost importance, such as how to cook the pasta, the type of tomato to use for the sauce, the wrong oil to pour on the artichokes or the shortage of chocolate for the children. For a few weeks a year we got to live in a romanticised Provence made of Pagnol's books, childhood memories from the 50s and Italian recipes I can't write down because the only indications I get are "Oh I don't know how much just add tomato until it feels right".
Now an adult, I long for Provence as you would be for a childhood friend you've lost touch with. I'm nostalgic for a region I never really knew, and the Midi accent feels like a window opening onto the smell of lavender and an old wooden bookcase with Pastorelly editions sitting on top. I relish the chance to criss-cross the region to immortalise lovers celebrating their weddings in the shade of the olive trees.

Journal
I've always loved writing - I've been very active in the wonderful world of Fanfiction for years - and I wanted to link these editorial inclinations with my taste for photography. I write about my services, about the world of marriage, I share thoughts, the fruit of certain research I have done on several aspects of photography... I welcome you in this joyful mayhem!
