BRITTANY
I grew up in Loire-Atlantique, near Nantes, but I started photography on the beaches of Brittany, and I was trained in wedding photography by a photographer also from Brittany! Today, I travel around the region as a wedding photographer.
HOW I CAME TO WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHY
I discovered photography as a child. My mother had given me a camera for Christmas, and I spent the rest of the vacations photographing seaside landscapes. Photography gradually found its place in my life alongside a host of feverish creative passions. I've made music, embroidery, drawing, painting on glass and on the walls of my grandparents' house. Photography is the only one of these childhood passions to have survived the test of time.
It was through my own wedding photography that the idea of a reconversion took root in my mind, thanks to my gifted and passionate wedding photographer. I was working in Paris and soon traded the clicking of my heels on the cobblestones of La Défense for the trotting of my sneakers on the roads of France, wherever the couples who trusted me chose to get married.
In this profession, of course, I find the pride of creating beautiful images and the satisfaction of going ever further in photographic technique. But the whole social dimension is what really makes me love this job. I strive to build a relationship with each couple based on trust and kindness, so that I can work with them to create the kind of reportage they want, and be an ally to them on a magnificent but sometimes stressful day.

HOW I WORK AS A WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHER
I strive to create with the bride and groom the bond I sought with my own wedding photographer. I want to create with each couple a relationship based on trust, honesty and kindness. It's important for the bride and groom to be able to share their questions, doubts and even disagreements with me. Susceptibility has no place in my profession!
During the wedding, my main focus is lightness. I'm deeply convinced that taking photos should be a light, fun experience for the bride and groom. Going through a quite special thus stressful day, their photographer needs to be an ally who brings them calm and fun ! In order to create and maintain this relaxed atmosphere, I continually train myself to guide the couples in the best possible way, without stress or pressure. I learn from photographers I admire, but also (and above all) by reading a lot of specialized books on photography.
Over the years, I've developed a series of documents that I fill in with the bride and groom during our preparatory discussions, enabling us to tailor their wedding to their image. I put down on paper their likes and dislikes, their desires, their fears... The idea is to approach the big day with all the information they need to create their wedding reportage.

GETTING MARRIED IN BRITTANY
I already know quite a few pretty reception venues in Brittany, thanks to my photography work and the research I did as a bride-to-be. As a lover of Brittany and having spent my childhood summers in the Côtes d'Armor, I've listed many of the places where I would have dreamed of getting married - and where I now dream of working as a wedding photographer.
I've covered weddings at Manoir de Kermodest, Manoir de Randrecard and Ile de Batz, and I've even been to Saint-Malo for a seaside session. I currently work all over Brittany as a wedding photographer.

I've always loved writing - I've been very active in the wonderful world of Fanfiction for years - and I wanted to link these editorial inclinations with my taste for photography. I write about my services, about the world of marriage, I share thoughts, the fruit of certain research I have done on several aspects of photography... I welcome you in this joyful mayhem!
