PAYS DE LA LOIRE
I grew up in Loire Atlantique, not far from Nantes. My taste for photography was born by the sea, during Christmas holidays in Brittany, though my very first wedding as a professional photographer was in Loire Atlantique, on the estate where I got married myself ! This first marriage was followed by many others, and today I get to come back to the Loire Valley to accompany newlyweds.
As a child, I had a great characteristic that regularly exasperated those around me: I'd become so passionate about a creative activity that I'd devote all my time to it, only to jump a few weeks later to a new, equally all-consuming passion. I dabbled in drawing, painting on everything from my grandmother's Dame Jeanne to the walls of her living room, writing, music and photography.
Photography is the only one of these passions to have survived the test of time, even if I often practised it as a dilettante alongside my student and then professional life.
The meeting with my wedding photographer was decisive. It coincided with a malaise in my professional life that prompted me to explore the idea of finding a new job. She trained me with patience and kindness, and took an enormous amount of time to help me get started on the road to wedding photography. I owe her the discovery of this profession and the courage to dare this reconversion.
Wedding photography brings together two skills that I'm passionate about and that were missing from my professional life up until then. First there is photography technique, of course. I'm constantly training to progress in photography which I've been passionate about since childhood. But wedding photography also has a social dimension. You have to accompany each couple, put them at ease, and understand what's important to them in order to create a wedding photo report that matches the memories created on this beautiful day. This accompaniment is an integral part of my job.

MY APPROACH TO WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHY
The way I work as a wedding photographer mirrors what I was looking for as a bride-to-be. Having experienced it myself, I know how a wedding day can become a maelstrom of emotions, divided between joy, excitement, stress, sometimes grief, nervousness, anxiety and so on.
You don't realize it until you're living it, but the wedding photographer is one of the people most present at the bride and groom's side on their wedding day. Both as a bride and as a photographer, I've seen just how important it can be to have someone attentive and caring by your side on a day as intense as a wedding.
In order to minimize stress and anxiety for the bride and groom, I talk to them as much as necessary before the wedding to gradually build up a bond of trust and communication, which is essential if I am to be at their side as effectively as possible on the big day.
In terms of photographic technique, I'm constantly updating my skills so that I can offer the bride and groom the most varied and elaborate reportage possible, while minimizing the number of moments when I ask the couple or guests to pose. The only time I give the bride and groom more guidance is during couples sessions, when it's essential to have someone to guide the session, so you can relax and enjoy the moment!

MY FIRST STEPS AS A PHOTOGRAPHER IN THE LOIRE VALLEY
Growing up near Nantes, I spent many weekends strolling along the seafront or eating my weight in ice cream at La Fraiseraie, on Pornic harbor. My love of photography was born in Loire-Atlantique. This region has continued to play a role in my career as a photographer, since I got married there and met my wedding photographer who trained me in this very special profession. I reconnected with the seaside during my training, covering weddings in Brittany with her.
I began my career as a professional photographer in the Pays de la Loire, and I'm glad I get to work in the entire region now !
