WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHER
in Pays de la Loire
I grew up in Loire Atlantique, not far from Nantes. My taste for photography was born by the sea, during Christmas holidays in Brittany, though my very first wedding as a professional photographer was in Loire Atlantique, on the estate where I got married myself ! This first marriage was followed by many others, and today I get to come back to Pays de la Loire to accompany newlyweds.

I first offer three main formulas for my photography services. They vary depending on the number of hours of attendance on the wedding day and the number of photos taken. These services start at 1700€. In addition to my standard formulas, it is of course possible for me to offer tailor-made quotes when the bride and groom have particular desires: presence at the brunch the next day, longer presence time on D-Day, civil marriage and secular/religious marriage spread out over two days, etc.
The photos are given to the bride and groom via an online gallery, two or three weeks after the event. The newlyweds also receive a box engraved with their names containing some photo prints and a USB key. I make sure to keep all the wedding reports on different media (hard disk, cloud) in case the bride and groom have a problem with their copies.
No wedding photo is published on my social networks before the bride and groom have been able to consult and validate their gallery. This way, they can always veto a few shots if they wish, and retain control of their image.
My wedding photography services in Pays de la Loire
I do work a lot in loire Atlantique though I can travel anywhere in the departments of Mayenne, Sarthe, Vendee or Maine-et-Loire according to the desires of the newlyweds I work with!

My approach to wedding photography
The way I work as a wedding photographer mirrors what I was looking for as a bride-to-be. I know, having experienced it myself, how much a wedding day can become a maelstrom of emotions, shared between joy, excitement, stress, grief sometimes, nervousness, anxiety, etc. It is normal to live every moment very intensely going through a day we have prepared sometimes for months, even more than a year for some brides and grooms!
You don't realize it until you're actually going through it but your wedding photographer is one of the most present people at the bride and groom's side on their wedding day. I have seen, as a bride and as a photographer, how important it can be to have someone attentive and caring by your side on a day as intense as a wedding. In order to minimise the stress or anxiety of the bride and groom, I talk to them as much as necessary before the wedding in order to gradually create a bond of trust and communication, which is essential for me to be by their side in the most efficient way possible.
As far as photo technique is concerned, I go for spontaneous and natural photos (people are infinitely more at ease when we don't ask them to do poses that they would never do naturally). The only moments on a wedding day I am more present to guide the bride and groom are during the couple sessions or for the group photos, where it is often reassuring to have someone who "knows how to do it" to be able to relax and enjoy the moment!
Pays de la Loire: the land of my first steps as a photographer
Growing up near Nantes, I spent many weekends walking along the seaside or eating my weight in ice cream from the Fraiseraie on the port of Pornic. As far as photography is concerned, seaside landscapes were obviously my first subjects. My taste for photography was born in Loire-Atlantique. This region continued to play a role in my career as a photographer, as I met my wedding photographer there. Amandine trained me and taught me the specificities of the job.
I covered my first weddings as a photographer alongside Amandine. I returned to the seaside since I went to weddings in Brittany with her. She trained me and I only started my professional activity after she had validated my technical skills. She still advises me so that I can continue to evolve and improve the quality of my work.
My first steps as a professional photographer were made here. Today, I have the chance to work as a wedding photographer and to travel throughout the Loire-Atlantique and Nantes regions as well as the vast Pays de la Loire region.

BUILDING A RELATIONSHIP OF TRUST WITH THE COUPLE
Every contact with a couple starts with a meeting: at my home (which gives me an excuse to make cakes) or by telephone. These talks are essential for me to understand the wishes of the bride and groom, but above all to ensure that they feel confident with me. It is impossible to commit to such an important service without taking the time to check that we are all on the same wavelength!
